🔒 Local processing is the default

Text Sparrow runs tools in your browser by default. Opening a tool, typing, pasting, or changing options does not upload your text.

Some compatible tools can offer a separate optional server run. The app checks that server only when you ask, then displays its origin, the operation, and the exact UTF-8 text bytes before requesting consent for that one run. Consent is not remembered and a failed server run is not silently repeated locally.

Optional server privacy declaration

The app accepts only a compatible server declaration stating memory-only processing, no content retention, and no request-body logging. Network and hosting infrastructure may still process connection metadata such as IP address and timing. You can cancel an in-flight request, although cancellation cannot recall bytes already transmitted.

🛡️ Zero Data Collection

We do not collect, store, track, or log any of the following:

  • Your locally processed pasted text, articles, or transformed documents.
  • Personal identities, IP logs, or tracking cookies.

💾 Saved Preferences

Text Sparrow saves interface settings, such as your accent theme and light/dark mode preference, on this device.
